Design · Installation · Maintenance — Austin, Texas
Great Hills designs, builds, and cares for landscapes across Austin — native plantings, limestone and steel, shade where you need it, and water used wisely. One team from first sketch to weekly care.
A landscape should still look right in August. We plan for Central Texas heat, thin soil, and live oaks — then build it to hold up, and keep it that way.
Full-service means the people who draw the plan are the people who build it and the people who show up every week after.
01 — Services
Hire us for a single project or for the whole life of your landscape. Most clients start with a design and never need to call anyone else.
01Site-specific master plans that solve grading, drainage, shade, and privacy before a single plant is chosen.
02Our own crews build what we draw — stone, steel, water, light, and plants — on a schedule you can plan around.
03Scheduled care that keeps the landscape looking the way it did the week we finished it — season after season.
02 — Process
No mystery, no surprise invoices. You'll know what's happening at every step and who's responsible for it.
We walk the site together, talk through how you want to use it, and set a realistic budget range up front.
Concept plan first, then a refined plan with materials, planting, lighting, and a line-item estimate.
Scheduled crews, a single project lead, and weekly updates until the final walkthrough.
A maintenance plan written for what we installed — so the establishment period goes right and the design holds.
Already have a design from an architect or landscape designer? We'll price and build it, and we'll tell you honestly if something on the plan won't survive an Austin summer.

Front-yard terraces, backyard retreats, and full outdoor-living builds. Project names and locations are placeholders until the client supplies real ones.
04 — What clients say
They redesigned our front slope into terraces with lighting, and the maintenance crew has kept it looking exactly like the renderings for two summers now.
One contract for design, build, and upkeep meant nobody was pointing fingers. The drainage they planned saved the yard in the first big storm.
Showed up when they said they would, and the plant palette actually made it through August without babysitting. That's rare here.
